2012 Australian Open: The Final: Djokovic Is No Joke!

No. 1 Novak Djokovic defeats No. 2 Rafael Nadal (5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-7, 7-5)

And in doing so, Djokovic defends his 2011 Aussie title, wins his third Aussie title overall and his 5th Grand Slam title overall.... And solidifies his undisputed No. 1 ranking.

The epic battle lasted an astonishing 5 hours and 53 minutes, making it the longest Grand Slam final match ever. The previous record was (4 hours, 54 minutes) held by the Mats Wilander over Ivan Lendl 1988 U.S. Open final, which was also a match for the ages.
