U.S. Open: Novak Djokovic : The Beat Goes On!

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has done it again!

Djokovic steamrolled past World No. 2 Rafael Nadal 6-2, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1 to captured the 2011 U.S. Open title.

Here are some astonishing facts about Djokovic in 2011--
  • Has won 3 major titles (U.S. Open, Wimbledon, Australian Open)
  • He is the 6th man in the Open Era to win 3 Grand Slam titles in a calendar year.
  • Has won 10 of the 12 tournaments he has played in 2011.
  • He has a 64-2 match record.
  • He is 6-0 against Nadal, all 6 wins came in finals matches.
But even with all those accomplishments, what I still find most mind-boggling is how he was able to save two match points against World No. 3 Roger Federer in the semifinals. Incredible!

I am seriously starting to believe the man isn't human.
