What in the world has happened to my desire to follow golf?
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this dilemma as we were so used to former-World No. 1 Tiger Woods keeping us interested and tuned in. And I'm talking about the pre-November 2009 Tiger Woods not the post-scandal Tiger that's yet to win a tournament. I'll admit I've never been the die-hardest of golf fans but during the Tiger-era, I did keep track of the game, at least, 75% more than what I do now.
For me, golf hasn't been the same since Tiger went from being "King" to the now-estranged former champion.
Oh well, maybe the new media darling and U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy will get my golf juices flowing again. If he's on top of the leader-board come Sunday then we're in business.
A QUICK NOTE: If you are a trivia buff, check out the site Sports History 365 for all the brain-racking sports trivia you can handle. The questions are great and tough. I think I've only gotten them all correct once since I've been following it. Check it out!
