Good-Bye K-Rod!

The fire sale has officially begun for the cash-strapped New York Mets.

The National League had barely finished celebrating their 5-1 All-Star Game victory over the American League when it was announced that the Mets had shipped their closer, Francisco "K-Rod" Rodriguez, to the Milwaukee Brewers for two players to be named later. In other words, take our HIGH-PRICED closer and give us whatever you have as long as they are dirt cheap.

Oh well! It is what it is. Nobody is really surprised as we all knew this team will sooner or later get dismantled.

As for the multi-tasking, All-Star Game closer, line-up card announcer and lobbyist Brian Wilson--

Hmmm? Does the bearded-one know something we don't know?
