World No. 1 Rafael Nadal defeats World No. 3 Roger Federer (7-5, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1) in another classic French Open Final between these two juggernauts. In the end Nadal proved to be too much for the great Federer who is now 0-4 (2006, 2007, 2008, 2011) in French Open finals against Rafa.

Nadal won his 6th overall French Open title (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011) tying him with the legendary Bjorn Borg for the most ever in the Open Era. Rafa is now a RIDICULOUS 45-1 at Roland Garros.

In winning the title, Nadal will maintain the No. 1 ranking by a slim margin over World No. 2 Novak Djokovic. As it stands, it's Nadal with 12,070 points to Djokovic's 12,025. Federer remains at No. 3 with 9,230 points.

Rafa also became the 7th player ever to win 10 or more overall Grand Slam titles. Here's the exclusive list--

1. Roger Federer - 16
2. Pete Sampras - 14
3. Roy Emerson - 12
4. Rod Laver - 11
5. Bjorn Borg - 11
6. Bill Tilden - 10
7. Rafael Nadal - 10

We can write forever about Nadal's accomplishments but only 4 words pretty much tell the whole story-- THE KING OF CLAY!
