Today he won two sets in his interrupted third round match against No. 25 Juan Martin del Potro and moved on to the fourth round. The end result was a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win for Djokovic over the tough Argentine. Djokovic is now a perfect 40-0 in 2011 and seems unstoppable.
Next up for Djokovic is the Frenchman No. 13 Richard Gasquet, who although is a decent player, shouldn't be a problem for the unbeaten Serbian who is on a collision course to meet either No. 7 David Ferrer or No. 3 Roger Federer in the semifinals.
On another note, World No. 1 Rafael Nadal breezed through his third round match against unseeded Antonio Veic winning 6-1, 6-3, 6-0 and is on a collision course to meet World No. 5 and two-time runner-up Robin Soderling in the quarterfinals before a possible match-up with World No. 4 Andy Murray in the semifinals.
So a lot needs to happen before we get the highly anticipated Nadal vs. Djokovic Final for all the marbles.
And I mean ALL THE MARBLES!
