Green Bay Packers 21 - Chicago Bears 14
A BIG CONGRATS to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers who are going to Super Bowl XLV as the AFC and NFC champions.
So who am I picking? This is a tough one, indeed.
As we all know, the road to the Super Bowl is a rough and tough journey and nobody had it rougher than the Packers. As the No. 6 seed they were forced to play all three playoff games on the road. And they won all 3 games on the road. Although I'm not taking anything away from the dangerous Steelers, they did have a bye and the luxury of playing two home games. So it's safe to say, their road was a lot smoother.
What does it all mean?
It means, I'm going with the road warriors, á la, the 2008 New York Giants and the 2006 Steelers. Winning three road games elevated those two teams confidence to an invincibility-like level. It may just happen again.
Packers 28 - Steelers 21
Oh and I must say, CONGRATS to both No. 6 seeds (Packers and New York Jets) for almost pulling off the unthinkable. The Packers won all three road games and the Jets won 2 out of 3 on the road. A 5-1 record so far for the No. 6 seeds. Not bad.
