Giants lead series, 1-0
Lincecum: 9.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 14 K, 0.00 ERA
Kudos to Tim Lincecum for throwing a 1-0, complete-game 2-hitter, in Game 1 against the Braves.
Even though the 1 run scored was tarnished by a controversial blown call by the umpire, it still doesn't take away from Lincecum's historical performance.
His 14 strikeouts, tied a major league postseason record for most strikeouts in a postseason debut. Lincecum joined Joe Coleman (1972 Tigers), John Candelaria (1975 Pirates), Mike Boddicker (1983 Orioles) and Mike Scott (1986 Astros) in this exclusive club.

He also tied Roger Clemens as the only two pitchers in postseason history to pitched a complete game with 14 or more strikeouts and allow 3 or fewer base runners [Lincecum allowed two hits, 1 walk, 14 strikeouts -- Clemens allowed 1 hit, 2 walks, 15 strikeouts in Game 4 of the 2000 ALCS].
It wasn't quite like Roy Halladay's gem, but this is probably the closest you can get.
