The Final Four!

The women's semifinals are good to go!

In one match it'll be, No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki vs. No. 7 Vera Zvonareva.

Wozniacki is the 2009 runner-up and has taken the tennis world by storm over the past 6 weeks. Zvonareva is the 2010 Wimbledon runner-up and is making her first trip to the U.S. Open semifinals.

The other match is a dandy. It'll be defending champion, No. 2 Kim Clijsters vs. two-time champion, No. 3 Venus Williams.

Both Clijsters and Williams stormed into the semis without dropping a single set, proving that they are the elites on hard court.

Venus is the lone American left on either side, while Clijsters represents the country of Belgium. In the other semi, Wozniacki will represent Denmark while Zvonareva comes from a long list of great Russian players.

My prediction:

We will have a repeat of last year's final: No. 1 Wozniacki vs. No. 2 Clijsters.

As for who will win the Final, well, I'm rooting for Wozniacki, but if I were a gambling man, I'd put my money on Clijsters.

But, we'll see....
