Whoa! A.I. Returns To Philly!

Allen Iverson is going home!

I must say I was a bit surprised when I heard the news-- but after further brainstorming, I realized it actually makes good business sense. The 76ers (5-14) are having a pathetic season and attendance is low and getting worse with every game. At this point, who but A.I. can fill seats in Philly? I'm sure he still has flocks of loyal fans in the City of Brotherly Love.

So from a business standpoint, I can see why the 76ers made the move. But from a dignity standpoint? Well-- that's a whole different issue.

To bring A.I. back, after all the bad blood that lead to him being run out of town, lets just say, neither the Sixers or Iverson have any shame.

I guess they were made for each other.

  1. Hey Jose,

Would you be interested in doing a guest post on my blog? I want to start a new feature where other Dawson fans voice their reasons he should be in the Hall. Let me know if you're interested. You can find my email on my blog.

Regarding Iverson, I can't believe how choked up he was in his press conference today. Normally I like when atheletes show their softer sides, but with him not so much. Just bothers me that a guy that quits on his team gets another chance.

  2. Wow! I haven't had a chance to see the press conference. I'll catch it later on today. Can't believe he had the nerve to choke up. All this A.I. drama cracks me up though. It bothers me too how he keeps getting chances but I'm almost sure Philly is doing it to put people in the stands.

As for Dawson, I'll e-mail you.
